Duties: |
As a Delivery Driver for Batteries Plus, you will provide customers with the kind of service that makes us a leader in the battery industry. You will create a customer experience that builds a lasting relationship and ensures Batteries Plus continues to be a store of choice.
Responsibilities:
Schedule daily delivery routes
Deliver new products and remove old products from customer locations
Make product connections, ensure functionality and instruct customers on uses
Maintain truck and arrange for its maintenance
Complete job related paperwork

Qualifications: |
Qualifications
Minimum H.S. diploma/equivalent and at least two years retail experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to communicate concrete and abstract ideas and understand and communicate directions using both oral and written means
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction as a resourceful, independent problem solver
Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks and meet deadlines
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
Awareness of how the store is operating in the manager's absence
At least 1 year verifiable driving experience Non cdl strait trucks.
Be at least 25 years of age.
Must have a clean driving record; no points or accidents on license and no suspensions in last 3 years.
Must be familiar with DOT HOS rules.
Prefer you have a DOT Card.
Must be able to pass DOT Physical
Must have general knowledge of diesel trucks and pre-trip inspections.
