| Sholom Community Alliance, one of the premier healthcare and senior services organizations in the Twin Cities, has a FT opening for knowledgeable, skilled Care Specialist/NARs at its St. Paul campus.
The Care Specialist/NAR provides direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, procedures, and individual plans of care, to achieve and maintain their highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
OPEN POSITIONS INCLUDE:
Full-time/Part-time/On-call NAR positions at Sholom Home East.

Duties: |
- Assist residents with all NAR nursing cares including dressing, bathing, grooming, ambulation, and toileting.
- Assist Nutritional Services staff with serving of meals and enhancing the mealtime experience.
- Enage residents in meaningful conversations while providing cares.
- Communicate promptly to nursing staff any changes in resident condition.
- Provide ongoing customer service to residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications: |
- Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant course or enrolled in approved course required.
- Nursing assistant experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
- Heimlich procedure skills preferred.
- Perform heavy work, lifting up over 100 pounds and frequently lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
