Position Summary: On-site technician for the installation of assigned projects, utilizing assigned personnel and equipment. Also is the customer liaison.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides support to location in all or some of the following areas:
Perform all aspects of the assigned project in accordance to EIA/TIA standards and applicable building codes.
Knowledge of applicable electronic equipment and specialty tools and the ability to train assigned personnel as well as end users.
Terminate most styles of patch panels, 110 blocks and 66 blocks.
Install cable safely and efficiently.
Understand labeling schemes.
Other duties as assigned.

- Required Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Three to five years of field experience preferred in the installations of CCTV systems, access control systems and intrusion detection systems.
One to three years of experience splicing and terminating fiber optic lines.
- Required Knowledge, skills and abilities
Must have good understating of specialty tools used.
Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
Must have and maintain a valid DOT health card.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
