Description: |
Provides professional physical therapy services using recognized and approved techniques and appropriate professional judgment. Provides direction and supervision to Physical Therapist Assistant, Rehab Aide and to students per MN guidelines. Is responsible for proving quality patient care, for program development and in-service presentation.
Position to work primarily as on-call.

Duties: |
1. Utilizes problem solving, decision making methodology in evaluating, planning, communicating, directing and delivering patient care.
2. Participates in the development, revision, and implementation of programming for the physical therapy department.
3. Participates in the development and presentation of in-service programs to rehab and interdisciplinary team
4. Contributes to the job performance evaluation process for PTAs
5. Maintains an effective working relationship with fellow employees.
6. Maintains the work area in a neat and orderly manner at all times.
7. Performs duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety procedures at all times.
8. Participates in educational programs in the interest of improving skills as required, and for professional growth and development.
9. Follows State and Federal regulations as they pertain to the practice of Physical Therapy.
10. May perform reasonable similar or related duties as assigned or instructed.

Qualifications: |
Education: Graduate of Physical Therapy Program, minimum of Bachelor’s degree
Experience: A minimum of one year experience as a physical therapist in a skilled nursing facility is preferred. Geriatric experience preferred.
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Licensed in the state of MN
