Description: | | The Associate Sales Representative is responsible for sales activities to increase Immedia’s customer base and revenue in the retail and consumer goods marketplace for displays, graphics and design services. These activities include working alone and assisting other Sales Representatives as assigned in developing new prospects, converting prospects to customers, and providing custom solutions to Immedia’s customers and targeted markets. | Duties: | The Associate Sales Representative is responsible for managing aspects of the sales process for Immedia’s business. Accountable for achieving quarterly and annual goals as assigned through effective execution of the following:
•Learn and implement a strategic sales strategy to achieve goals for new customers and new revenue.
•Implement a disciplined prospecting plan to move prospects from cold to warm to Immedia customers.
•Consultative sales approach by identifying a prospect’s unique requirements and/or unidentified requirements and collaborating to create solutions to meet those requirements.
•Assist the sales department in developing company data base of accounts and key contacts through research, phone, email, etc.
•Assist the Sales and Marketing Director and assigned Sales Representatives with implementation of account management plans and servicing for new and existing customers to ensure that Immedia continues to be the vendor of choice regarding displays and POP product and service applications.
•Possess strong knowledge of all product value streams to effectively sell products and services.
•Identify and achieve additional revenue opportunities in vertical markets with consumer marketers and intermeidiaries using Immedia products and services.
•Develop and implement annual and monthly sales plans and forecasts to achieve assigned goals and report progress of those plans and goals on a regular basis to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
•Work closely with Immedia’s internal resources and associates to ensure open communications, understanding and a win-win approach to customers’ needs and requirements (CSR’s, Design, Creative Works, Engineering and Production, etc).
•Execute effective sales, service and follow up activities with existing customers to meet needs and provide solutions to retain and grow revenue.
•Develop awareness of Immedia’s brand through prospecting and strategic networking.
•Ability to travel a territory 60% of the time. Small amount of travel nationally.
•Other duties as assigned.
| Qualifications: | •3 or more years selling new business to new customers and 1 or more years managing both new sales and service. Documented success required.
•Has demonstrated success in prospecting and turning prospects into customers.
•BS/BA Degree required,
•Experience working with consumer product companies or retail chains selling displays, signage, printing and point of purchase solutions is a plus.
•Ideal candidate would have successful experience selling directly to end users a custom solution and/or complex sale with project management and follow up as key success factors.
•Uses a consultative approach and understands and utilizes techniques to recognize unidentified opportunities and create a need in a prospects mind.
•Ability to call on and make presentations to all levels within a corporation or organization.
•Possesses strong computer skills and believes in CRM software as a way of tracking activity, customers, prospects, competition and sales.
•Strong customer service orientation with the ability to sell service and overall value instead of lowest price. |
