We are actively recruiting an experienced SharePoint Consultant skilled in consulting and development of Microsoft SharePoint solutions. This important position will be part of our SharePoint practice area, and requires:
*Understanding of the Microsoft SharePoint architecture, with proven development experience with: SharePoint; .NET; C#; SQL; and integrating 3rd party applications.
*Participating in the requirements definition, design, development and implementation of Microsoft SharePoint solutions for our clients—together with Microsoft, other technology partners and in collaboration with other Meritide business units.
*Employing the methods and processes to deliver high quality solutions for clients, using Microsoft SureStep, solid project management and process disciplines.
*Working closely with other teams in Meritide’s Microsoft practice areas, such as the Sales and Marketing organization, to create market-based solutions using SharePoint capabilities.
*The skills, attributes, and traits needed to contribute in a culture that succeeds in a competitive and changing market without compromising work/home life balance. Desired Qualifications
*Experience integrating the SharePoint platform with SOAP / Web Services, SQL Reporting Services and Microsoft Project Server
*Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in SharePoint solution development
*Knowledge of third party add-ons to SharePoint
*Experience working with and presenting to C-level Executives
*Knowledge and experience developing solutions using the Agile methodology and Team Foundation Server
*Experience developing solutions on Microsoft ASP.NET using C# and / or VB.NET
*Experience developing solutions using advanced CSS, XSL and JavaScript / JQuery
*Proficiency in the SharePoint 2010 Object Model
Hands-on experience using the following technologies:
*SharePoint Designer 2010
*MS Visual Studio 2010
*Performance Point Services
*SQL Reporting Services and Analysis Services
*MS SQL Server Management Studio
*Silverlight
SharePoint certifications including:
*MCTS: Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Application Development Certification
*MCPD: SharePoint Developer 2010 Certification
*MCTS: Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Configuration
*MCITP: SharePoint 2010 Administrator Certification
