Description: |
| The Director, Development Services is responsible for providing best-in-class data operations, research, analytics, & customer service to advance fundraising performance - currently at more than $40 million annually - across American Public Media, Minnesota Public Radio, Southern California Public Radio, & Classical South Florida. |
Duties: |
- Develop a creative, analytical, strategic vision for development services solutions.
- Establish strategic priorities & goals, lead planning, & maximize operational efficiencies for the Development Services division.
- Identify, plan & implement new, donor-centered strategies resulting in increased customer service & revenue growth.
- Improve performance & integration of all fundraising data systems to most effectively meet the organization's data management, fundraising & reporting needs.
- Lead a strategic prospecting research & management program to support the identification, qualification, & cultivation of top major gift prospects.
- Communicate & positively influence organizational relationships that are critical to the ongoing success of the Development division's efforts

Qualifications: |
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a complex, data-intensive operational & analytical realm.
- Prior management experience required.
- Proven ability to assess, design, implement & manage efficient systems & quality controls.
- Excellent understanding & application of project management processes & tools to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, on-scope.
- Strong financial skills, with experience in budget management.
- Knowledge & experience with business information systems, research practices, & statistical analysis.
- Ability to build & maintain relationships & to represent the organization with third parties. |
