The hours for this position will be 6:00am to 2:30pm for 3 shifts every two weeks. Qualified candidates must be available every other weekend and every other holiday.
The NA/R position provides quality, direct resident care in all activities of daily living including; dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, walking and positioning. With direction from the Licensed professional Nurse in coordination with the interdisciplinary team, the NA/R provides individualized physical, psychological and social support to residents while maintaining dignity and achieving their optimal level of functioning. The NA/R interacts with family, visitors and other health care providers while implementing the plan of care for residents.

Duties: |
| Dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, walking and positioning of Residents. Assists Nurse with special procedures such as height, weight,collecting urine and stool samples, catheter care, monitors and records vital signs, provides care of body after death. Participates in care conference as requested by nurse. Reports to Nurse, changes in resident’s condition. With direction from the Nurse in coordination with the interdisciplinary team, the NA/R provides individualized physical, psychological and social support to residents while maintaining dignity and achieving their optimal level of functioning. Ensures safe environment for residents and staff |
Qualifications: |
| Must be on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry. Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to take written and verbal instruction from supervisors. Must be able to communicate with residents visitors and staff. Must qualify for employment, after criminal background check, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services. |
